The occasion will be organised to commemorate 200 years of the Shri Mata Mansa Devi temple. The celebration is about to start from October 1 and will last for 9 days.

Being a Tamilian, Hema Malini has been trained in Bharatanatyam dance. The Mansa Devi Shrine board has sent an invitation to Hema Malini to perform on the event. As of now, Hema Malini has not accepted the request but hopefully she will accept it.

Why Such an Occasion?

If you are thinking that why Hema Malini would perform at Mansa Devi Temple then let us tell you that the esteemed temple at Manimajra is completing its 200 years of establishment. Hence, the temple authorities have decided to celebrate the coming Navaratas in a big way.

The budget for these annual celebrations have been expanded from current 40 Lakh per year to 2 Crore per year.

Hema Malini’s devotional dance performance will be a star performance. Along with her a number of other performances have also been scheduled.

Who all have been invited?

Invitations have also been sent to Union home Minister Rajnath Singh, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Civil Aviation Minister P Ashok Gajapati Raju. Along with the political leaders, many of the Bollywood Playback Singers like Pankaj Udhas and Kavita Paudwal are also expected to join the event.

As the guests involve the prominent leaders and celebrities as well, the board has to be sure about the security and the decorations should be lavish. That is why the budget of the event has been increased from Rs 40 lakhs to Rs 2 crores. This time the board has decided to add enjoyment with the devotion that is the reason why celebrities are being called for the same. It seems board is even expecting youngsters to be a part of the event.
