Chandigarh | A School Bus Killed 22 Year Old Girl Riding an Activa in Sector 45

This accident which happened in Sector 45 Chandigarh will give you chills down your spine. Karishma Sharma, a 22-year-old girl was killed on Tuesday in a road accident. Karishma was crushed to death under the wheels of a school bus. The incident happened at the light point of Colony Number 5 near Gau Shala in Sector 45 around 2:30 PM.

Karishma Sharma was working with a digital media company and Karishma’s father was an Indian Army personnel. Karishma’s body will be handed over her family member on Wednesday after the postmortem reports. A case against the driver of a speeding bus has been registered at the Sector 49 Chandigarh police station.

How The Incident Happened

Karishma was on a two-wheeler and she was going towards Mohali. She was hit by a speeding school bus coming from Sector 17. The speeding school bus hit her so badly that her head got crushed under the right side wheels of the bus.

Amit Kumar Razak, the school bus driver gave a false statement to the police saying that Karishma was lying on the road full of blood and he was trying to rush the girl to the nearby hospital. The police got to know that the driver hit Karishma after they questioned the students who were travelling in the school bus.

The Victim Was Rushed To The Hospital But Died

Karishma Sharma was immediately rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, Chandigarh after she was hit by a speeding school bus. The doctors declared Karishma brought dead and Amit Kumar Razak, the driver of the speeding school bus and a resident of Sector 25 Chandigarh has been arrested.

The Station House Officer (SHO) of Sector 49 police station said that Amit Kumar Razak, driver of the school bus misled the police by saying that the 22-year-old girl was lying on the road full of blood and he stopped the school bus to help the girl. But the police came to know the truth when they questioned the students on the school bus who said that Amit Kumar Razak was involved in the accident.

Upon this, police officials questioned the students sitting in the bus about the accident and came to know that the driver was lying.
