Diesel prices in India have been decreased by Rs. 2.91 per litre. Here are the updated diesel rates in Chandigarh (UT), Punjab (Mohali) and Haryana (Panchkula).
Prices effective from 1st April, 2017
Current diesel price in Chandigarh = Rs. 57.12.
Current diesel price in Punjab (Mohali) = Rs. 56.68.
Current diesel price in Haryana (Panchkula) = Rs. 56.19.
The new diesel prices were announced on 1st April, 2017 by Indian Oil Corp. (IOC) as the international barrel price of crude oil had decreased.
Earlier, the prices were slashed 4 times in the year 2016.
