E-Pathshala Project Details
These 10 schools have been given 8 tabs each and teachers from these schools have been trained on how to impart training to students using tabs. NCERT books, audio and video guides have been made available on the tabs and teachers will be teaching students in small groups of 6 students each.
Another plus points of e-pathshala is that not just teachers, but even parents can access NCERT study material on their smartphones, tabs or desktops.
The project has been launched as a pilot project but is soon expected to be rolled out in other government schools of Chandigarh as well. It will help underprivileged students and at the same time will create an interest among students to learn through audio, video by using tabs and mobile phones.
