Taking into consideration the requirements of Sector 48 residents, UT administration has gifted 3 great things to Sector 48 in a single day.
Sector- 48 is situated in the extreme south of Chandigarh and misses many major facilities. Looking forward to the problems faced by the people of sector- 48, the administration has planned to resolve the problems.
Three Gifts for Residents of Sector 48
These 3 big thing will be much beneficial for their mind and health.
1. A Hospital with 100 Beds
Though there are many hospitals and dispensaries situated in different sectors of the city, Sector 48 was one such sector that misssed this facility. But now, a 100 bed hospital will soon become a part of Sector 48. New hospital will be equipped with all the facilities that include all departments and OPDs such as:
- Medicine
- Surgery
- Gynecology
- Paediatrics and much more.
- It will also have 24- hour emergency services for critical patients.
The construction of the hospital has begun and we hope it would be completed soon. So in the coming times, all residents living in Sector 48 and nearby sectors will have a medical center close by. A similar 100 bed hospital has recently come up in Sector 45, Chandigarh.
2. A Green Park
The second good news for the citizen of Sector 48 is that a new Green park has been inaugurated in the area. Greenery is an integral part of the city Chandigarh and hence Sector 48 that has too many flats and societies needed a green park. With the inauguration already been done, people can now go for a walk, sit and can feel the fresh air. Green Park of Sector 48 has been developed by the Chandigarh municipal corporation at a cost of Rs 30 lakh and has all facilities such as walking path, playing equipment for children, Ornamental trees, Flower beds, huts, benches etc.
Along with various facilities, this new park in Sector 48 also has good lighting system for people to have a night walk.
3. AC Gym in Community Center
Adding to the list, a new gym has come up in the community center of Sector 48. This is a fully AC gym. It was a long-pending demand of the residents to have a gym in the community centre which has been fulfilled by the Chandigarh administration. This new AC gym boosts of latest equipment worth Rs 12 lakh that includes – treadmills, cross trainer, stationary cycle, twister and much more.
Sector 48 has a lot of societies where numerous people live in flats and hence all these things were necessary.
